Our Hampers

Hadrian's Pure Indulgent Hamper

Hadrian’s Pure Indulgent Hamper is named after the enigmatic Roman Emperor responsible for the building of Hadrian Wall and associated forts around AD122.

Our flagship hamper is filled to the brim with goodies sourced from local suppliers and producers along the Hadrian’s Wall corridor, complemented with wines from slightly further afield supplied by Townhead Farm and Winery, located at the foot of High Cup Nick. This is the ultimate gift for family or clients that will give pleasure for weeks on end.

Housesteads Seasonal Treats

Housesteads, known as Vercovicium (the place of effective fighters), is the most complete example of a Roman fort in Britain. It was one of 12 permanent forts added to Hadrian’s Wall in about AD124.

This hamper is complete with a selection of the finest sweet and savoury produce Hadrian’s Wall Country offers, including a selection of drinks, preserves, biscuits and featuring a Northumbrian rich fruit cake - enough to keep any ‘effective fighter’ on the go.

Vindolanda Party Drinks and Nibbles

The Vindolanda Drinks and Nibbles Hamper is named after the original fort that guarded the central section of the vital east to west supply route, known now as the Stanegate, and when the Wall was built some 40 years later, Vindolanda took its place between Housesteads and Great Chesters as a Wall fort.

This hamper contains a wide selection of the tastiest drinks and nibbles Hadrian’s Wall Country can offer.

Chesters Country Condiments

The Roman fort on Hadrian's Wall at Chesters, known as Cilurnum (The Cauldron Pool) marks the point where Hadrian’s Wall crossed the River North Tyne, the first major obstacle on its route from east to west.

The quality of the products and the presentation of this hamper ensure that it is very popular all year round. Why not say thank you and impress at the same time with this collection of Hadrian’s Wall Country Condiments including a fabulous chilli sauce - from Hexham can you believe?

The Corbridge Gift Box

Corbridge Roman Site predates Hadrian's Wall, and was situated at the important crossroads of northbound Dere Street and the Stanegate running east to west along the Tyne Valley. It was the main town and supply base for the garrisons of the central sector.

This excellent value hamper has our very best selling produce, and is the perfect gift for someone as an introduction to the fine food and drink on offer from Hadrian’s Wall Country.

Segedunum Sweet and Savoury Treats

Segedunum (strong fort) is the eastern most fort on Hadrian’s Wall near the banks of the River Tyne, forming the eastern-most portion of the wall. It was in use as a garrison for approximately 300 years, almost up to AD400.

A year round winner, a collection of locally sourced sweet and savoury treats for your delight and enjoyment. A hamper of real taste at a realistic price.
